Japan cultural week to be held in Tehran, Isfahan
The event in Tehran will be held during 25-29 January 2012 during which “Gun-en Artists group” shows around 50 pieces of its members' artistic works including paintings, pictures, dolls and textiles.
The embassy is also going to hold exhibitions of photographs and children’s paintings of Japan’s disaster-stricken areas of March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
The embassy has also invited a Japanese flower arrangement expert who will hold Japanese flower arrangement performances on 26, 27 and 29 of January and small workshops on 27 and 29 January.
The embassy further holds Iranian and Japanese Children’s Cultural Exchange program on 28 January 2012 in the Iranian Artists’ Forum.
In a similar event, the Japanese embassy will hold its cultural week during 18-20 January 2012 in the city of Isfahan with a similar program to Tehran.
In addition to casual programs, demonstration of Japanese tea ceremony, Japanese calligraphy as well as the workshops of Japanese flower arrangement and origami will be held in the city.
